Lyndon Smith

President

Lyndon SmithLyndon Smith oversees business development, ongoing quality control of services and is ultimately responsible for EPSI meeting all its commitments. He believes that long-term success hinges on serving clients with unsurpassed attention to the design, communication and management of their employee benefit plans.

Lyndon brings more than 30 years of experience in planning and negotiating group health and welfare contracts and employee benefit plans. He is a distinguished leader in the third-party administration (TPA) business. For the past 25 years, Lyndon’s participation in regulatory issues governing self-funded and ERISA plans, has earned him national recognition. He continues to be an active member of the state and national associations that represent self-insured employers.

“I am passionate about preserving the employers’ right to provide and manage their employee health benefits and will continue to advocate for their interest on a self-insured or fully insured basis.” Many of his experiences have included working with national, state and local associations and large self-funded/trust-funded plans.

Lyndon has been a dynamic member of the Houston health insurance and employee benefit community since 1972. His civic involvement includes membership on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Souvenir Program Committee, and he is a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

 
Sally Dwyer

Executive Vice President

Sally DwyerSally Dwyer leads EPSI’s benefit consulting and brokerage divisions and is responsible for developing client programs that offer creative, effective results. Since 1994, she has established a worldwide network of relationships and resources, while initiating the drive to expand the company’s technology.

These advances have given EPSI a critical edge in providing clients with the most dynamic products, services and data available.

She believes that a comprehensive understanding of employer’s goals, coupled with best rated partnerships and innovative programs, allows clients to achieve a maximum return for their employee benefit investment. “Everyone wins when ideas transform into effective solutions”. Sally has negotiated a multitude of managed care, provider, payer, specialty and third party contracts, for more than 20 years. Many of her projects and clients have included large multi-state retailers, Fortune 1000 and intercontinental corporations.

Sally has served on advisory boards and peer committees for national, regional and local employee benefit and healthcare organizations for the last 18 years. These involvements provide EPSI with valuable tools to better manage clients benefit plans and risk. She continues to be a respected leader in many non-profit organizations that support her local business and the civic community.

Sally joined EPSI in 1989 and became a Principal and Executive Vice President in 1994.
